New Album: Meat Loaf: Hang Cool Teddy Bear

From Wiki:
Hang Cool Teddy Bear is the tenth studio album by Meat Loaf. It was released on 19 April 2010 by Mercury Records in the UK[2] and by Loud & Proud Records in the US[3] on 11 May 2010, with global distribution handled by Universal Music Group.

The album was produced by Rob Cavallo, and contains songs written by Justin Hawkins, Rick Brantley and Jon Bon Jovi, amongst others. Guests on the album include Brian May, Steve Vai, Patti Russo, Hugh Laurie, Jack Black, Pearl Aday. This is the fourth studio album by Meat Loaf not to include any songs written by former collaborator Jim Steinman.

The first single from the album, "Los Angeloser", was released for download on 5 April.[4]

The album will be released on CD, Hardback book CD/DVD Deluxe edition, Limited Edition LP, digital & Super Deluxe Box Set.[1] The Super deluxe edition comes in a book like box containing two audio CDs, a concert DVD of Meat Loaf live in 2008,[2] a Meat Loaf metal keyring, sheet music for the track "Los Angeloser", and a Meat Loaf Hang Cool Teddy Bear album art print card.[5]The Universal Music UK store have an exclusive version available featuring a signed certificate.[2]

The album is based on the story of a fictional soldier, whose "story" furnishes the album's theme. Each song presents "a different scenario in his future".[8] The 13 tracks are linked by a wounded soldier's visions, not of his past life, but of possible future lives.[9]

Once again, that bastard isn't coming to my area.

^ No way headache.

Bat Out of Hell 2 had some EPIC tunes. Rock and Roll Dreams Come Through, Objects in the Rearview Mirror, Anything for Love, It Just Won't Quit, Everything Louder, Life is a Lemon...

But There are brilliant songs on all his albums, just that every album other than Bat 1 and 2 also have some filler.

I know it isnt particularly cool to like Meat, but man that guy has (had??) some great pipes, and picks great collabs. His live voice is suffering these days, but noone could ever question his passion.

For anyone who thinks he doesnt have anything to offer other than Bat 1, listen to:

YouTube - Meat Loaf - When the Rubber Meets the Road

YouTube - Meat Loaf - Blind as a Bat

YouTube - Meat Loaf - Cry Over Me

The new album is very good too. If I Can't Have You, Peace on Earth and If It Rains are all very very good songs.
