lol. Are you serious? Why should their every move be compared to U2?
No, I was just poking fun at how this forum measures every one of Coldplay's moves on U2 career...
I figured I'd beat them to the punch.
The day he does, I'll quit the Coldplay jokes.
I give C-Play a lot of credit for not releasing their albums during the holiday period like U2 does. At least that's one thing they haven't emulated yet.
what's the deal with Ovaltine?
It sounds like U2?
I'm curious as to what separated the material into two distinct albums---why some songs ended up on VLVODAAHF and why others were chosen for the second. Cool.
It's probably a left-over album, like Radiohead's Amnesiac or something.
Apparently there's a "full version" of Life in Technicolor waiting to be released on this new album, if that's any indication as to what kind of album it's going to be.
so, they're copying R-Head now?

actually according to Martin all the Coldplay like anthems (fix you, speed of sound) were left over for the next album.
so don't jump for joy just yet
I like "Fix You". FOAD, guys.

fix you part II??!!!
Maybe Martin will write a song that's two hundred miles along.

Or Metallica's Load and Reload. Reload was a record of tracks that didn't make it onto Load, and it was released a year later.
I think someone needs to have their bones ignited...
I've little opinion on Coldplay. I have their first two albums and they're both OK. But "Fix You" is one of the worst songs I've ever heard in my life. Particularly the first two and a half minutes. Oh my God.
