Is it cool to dislike Sting or something?

If disliking Sting is cool, call me Miles Davis.

I've noticed that a lot of fans are really critical towards artists that are lumped in with their own. Sting and Bono have been lumped together by the media since the 80's.

Sting was amazing until sometime in the early '90s. It was all downhill after that.

Sacred Love was great but for the most part I agree that after The Soul Cages in 1991 his career went downhill. Considering the great albums he mainly wrote from 1979-1991, it isn't a surprise he got burnt out. I think the same thing happened with Peter Gabriel.

Up is a good album, IMO. Darkness is a fantastic song, and the album has great atmosphere.

I like Up too but Us and OVO are pretty bad albums. None of the soundtrack or stand alone songs are that great either.
