Half a mile from what she said...
speaking of words and music just coming to ya. This little one blurted out in a matter of minutes-music and words at the same time. A nice little C-F-Gsomethingorother groove on the old acoustic. I dunno, I'm not one for acoustic songs, but I'm on a tear or something. Y'all inspire me. Anyway....

There are places I have been
And there are faces I have within
But what difference does it make what I have done?

I told a story, it was a lie
I know I hurt you, I don't know why
But what difference does it make what I have done?

CHORUS

And I can see the stars again
And I can hear your song again
It's drifting away, it's drifting away, to the sea

A full moon hangs in the sky
Above the mountains that I have climbed
But what difference does it make what I have done?

We built these fences with our hands
Now they've broken down this land
But what difference does it make what I have done?

destroy this, you are going into the cliche world of all the crap singer-songwriter siongs about love and heartache. Try and be smarter than that man.

It ain't Love Bites roug....but thanks for the criticism.

It's more about growing up and revisiting your childhood and wanting to go back. Visiting your parents house and feeling like a stranger, but still knowing every nook and cranny, and seeing memories in every corner. But I guess you could interpert it another way.
