of few things i am certain
love and family, friends
but if one's torn away
everyday i hurt
like stone they turn
cold and distant
and i'm left here
alone
cross them off the list
of life's certainties
so now what?
acting is for movies
not relationships
we're past the formalities
so stop
you think it's good like this?
do you even have feelings at all?
no
you are cold stones
and i'm alone
i ask questions
you ignore
and i can't take it anymore
hatred is far less daunting than apathy
i care, you don't
i leave, you won't
fair is fair
