not today

an urgency and foulness fell upon my stomach today
i dont know from where it came
it overtoook my mind and body

someting from deep within
from over and beyond
the fear
the fear i have felt for months

as i walked through shopping malls
and watched so many different faces go by
inside so full and heavy my heart
for this feeling would not leave

where it came from
where it goes
where is stays
i can not be sure

the tears i tried so hard to keep away
and replace them with forced smiles
they knew how false i was
but still talked on

today i never want to have again
today i think i lost my love
today i dont feel so good inside
did i lose you forever today?
