Hmmm... here's some stuff I have kicking around, some is good, some is not so good.

Eyes flicker across the page,
gently trace the shapes and line.
Black and white spills over
into the search for life.

The wind settles over the empty night
A white tide recedes from mud and mangled grass
Winter?s burdens flow away on wings of healing light

No more than this?
Twenty years of frozen memories
Collected and distilled
In rows of urns upon a shelf

Dreams I wished were real, and realities I wished were dreams

And here's an interesting poem, you can watch as it gets of to its start, then sputters and dies. It still amuses me. I think it has some potential, but as it stands obviously ain't cohesive and a rather bit tacky.

Dry dusty streets stretch on
Boot cleats worn by countless miles
I trudge unendingly

Golden rays soak cyan sky
Gulls twirl and twist aloft
But I, below, make meagre pace

Somewhere someone is waiting for
A prince or hero, a wish made whole.

I have travelled long,
From far beyond I?ve come to you
I cannot conceive to fulfil a dream
I do not dare to think myself a prince
My presence cannot bring you every joy
So I cannot hope that you may whatever.
And this is where my mind runs dry.
Of things to say, of things to tell

Title: On the Eve of Creation

The ground heaved beneath the snow
until a white tide withdrew from the mire
and the wind breathed over the night
and into a woman born from dust to lust.

I think I butchered your lines there, Skeek.

They seemed like good ideas at the time, had they not been so shite:

Are you motivated and dynamic
like you know you oughta be
Do you love your life like a worker bee?

And they drove home through the rain
And they drove home like a coffee stain

Do you live in a bowl
where the fish are deaf and blind
like an old friend's pity
when you say you're about to die

Pretty cheery eh. I so don't want to write like that again.

I'm new and this is my first post, but I've got some laughable ones:

And never is always assumed
But never is always proved

My life is an endless cycle
Of periodic disaster

Why don't we form a club?
Call it "People We Don't Know That We Hate"

You are a new mind
Yet another clone
Crawling on this planet

If I lived a life of normality
I'd teach a history class
And be the only survivor of everything

Who does he thank today?
Probably the same old crowd
"well, first I'd like to thank
everyone who despises and hates me" :|

I have seen you somehow
In a former life
Are you my reincarnation
Are you a legacy
Could you be a someone
Could you be like me? (not TOO bad)

and finally, the world's dumbest haiku:

I have my grandpa's
nose and eyebrows, but I guess
he would like them back
