this is not poetry, just lines, words, thoughts..

i shot the stars
and buried the sea
how wise the fall
was going to make me

live a lone bruise
with a bellylaugh in the tree
cast aside your torture
throw it down
anger to you i feel i owe

take this piece of my shredded heart
throw it to the burnt sky
watch my face fall into a thousand pieces
and laugh with the rain as it 'breaks my heart'

walk away from me now
just like you did before
your breath still on my hands
kiss them and you're gone.

your idea reminds me of something, though...
you know in The Sixth Sense when the little boy just wrote things without thinking...forget what it's called...
well, I tried it once and mine came out really scary..maybe I'll share it sometime for the heck of it

I think it's called automatic writing... half the stuff I post starts out like that.
That is poetry, ZooManda, in its purest form... the subconcious speaks in poetry. All these silly concious thoughts just get in the way.

I really like it.

I never think about what I'm writing, and rarely edit. For me, I think that's the best kind of poetry.
