Foadie
War Child
Swathed in despair I let myself go
Misery streaming down my face
Laughing at a waterfall so poignant
It drowns me
Crystal clear and an ocean
Brings me to another place where I lose my sixth sense
Not to reclaim it
Pages of sorrow swirl before my eyes
I know how long I?ve waited and I won?t wait any longer
Speaking my mind until I can?t get any stronger
Dusky silver of a mirror grins as I look for truth
Trying to rip apart the glass as if I could find myself there
I want so much and need nothing!
The mirror says otherwise but I believe my head and float away
The red on white is comforting
The pain sears my nerves
I lie on a carpet of my mistakes
Not thinking now.
