The dream chaser's train leaves at ten past two
It's destination is know to but only a few
I'll make that train, 'cause I want to see
The day collide with night; and how that comes to be
The mountains, the valleys with their wide open spaces
The atmosphere and the people I meet at these places
Stone walls within every journey-everywhere I go
I want to see what my imagination can show
Exciting adventures, their directions which I steer
Without hesitation, apprehension or any fear
All this experienced while being fast asleep
Unconcious thoughts becoming memories to keep
Destination's reached - time to greet morning
once more
To see what the reality of daylight has in store
For the dream chaser, though, morning's never
easy
The mind works double shifts. It's always
busy

very beautiful tune indeed... very emotinal.. kinda depressed, but very light lyrics that makes the song more personnal.

Is it relate to anything in your life ?

Holy John:

Yes, I'm one those people that dream every
night....at least two or three dreams per
night. Most all of them take place where there are mountains, valleys...and stone walls. And 99% of the time I wake up exhausted because the dreams are mostly of
fun times, fun places with fun people. So I
wasn't "trying" to make it sound depressing -
maybe a little mysterious? Is that the word I'm looking for? uhm....

yeah, mysterious would fit more than depressed.... you got the word mate

it actually reminds me of a train trip with me granny when I was ten - from england ferried to Calais and onwards to Rome

It was summer and hot, remembering waking up at night to get some air from the window after having the weirdest of dreams and was amazed at the beauty of the stars above the Swiss alps - it was a pity that that Is all I ever go to see of Switzerland

don't know if I like any particular line over another I'ts just how the whole thing comes together *permission to shout BRAVO at a very irritating loudness U2Junkie?*

Maybe I should have mentioned, too, that the
stone walls in my dreams are only 2 ft high.
Kinda like the ones you see in the country that used to separate peoples land. Thanks,
too, for taking the time to read it and for
your input.

Frogbat: I always wanted to go and see
Switzerland, England, the Black Forest and
Ireland's countryside. I can only imagine the sight of the star's twinkeling down over
the alps.

Irritating Loudness?? What did you mean by
this? Appreciate your input. Thanx

sorry about the loudness thingie it's from my favourite commedy - "Blackadder"
it'd british starring Rowan Atkisnson (don't judge him on Mr Bean) and that line is (from the fourth series set in the WWI Allied trenches ) spoken by Hugh Laurie's character in enthusiastic british public (read private) school enthusiasm at orders from his CO

you gotta watch it to understand, just keep the "Bravo" in your mind!
