They're not hurting anyone and if it makes them happy then what's the problem?
Yeah, but wouldn't they be hurting themselves? I mean, it sounds like some of these women are lost in a fantasy world. I can understand some are coping with grief. But some aren't, like the women who already has a 2 year old daughter.

I don't know, maybe I'm being too judgmental

I think I would find this weirder if I wasn't told about Real Dolls which pretty much hit the weird factor for me.

Realdoll, The World's finest Love Doll

It isn't even the idea of it as much as the fact that there is a documentary about this and the men in it sounded so incredibly in need of psychiatric intervention, that I couldn't even find the dolls amusing.

8 K? Jaysus, is sex really THAT important?

I assume it's a sex doll- I clicked on your link and saw the picture, then I ran away...

Maybe they just use her in the car pool lane.

The documentary was illuminating. These men actually think they have relationships with the women. One of them had to send his in for repairs (don't ask) and he was literally in tears, saying they haven't spent a night apart since he got her. They have dinner together, they get professional photos taken of them as a couple, etc. It's really disturbing.

The level of realism is insane. You can also put them in a hot water bath and they'll become as warm as a human body. You can choose all their features etc.

They also have a male version if you're interested in seeing "him."

I agree. I think using those dolls for sex are like having sex with dead bodies! OK, I know they can...do things. But still, I agree that any guy who literally has a relationship with a sex doll needs help and has intimacy issues.
