Question about Larry's drum set

Yeah, I checked in my music catalog for one of those, but I couldn't find any.

I'm guessing that it's some kind of device to stop the echo coming from the drums, or maybe more specifically the bass drum.

I'm not a drummer though, don't have the hand-eye coordination.

I can play a penny whistle and a recorder though .
