Herdim Picks

I was wondering if the herdim picks are really necessary for all u2 songs that have a chime?

Songs needed to strum e.g. pride guitar intro would they really make a difference?

They're not 100% necessary, but if you want the same little ring that most songs have, it'd be wise to have a similar rimmed pick.

IMHO it's the number 1 necessity for mimicking the edges sound , the scratchiness that is added with the modulated delays takes your sound to another level
