They had studio time booked at 301 back in March when they were originally meant to be here. Remember? It was with Kanye West, caused a bit of a stir around here. Never happened, but perhaps this is their first opportunity since then to hook up with him again.

i don't see what the problem is with trying out different producers from different styles... after all, if it sucks,it won't get released anyways.

most seem to be pleased with rubin's production thus far... need we forget that he started as a hip hop producer, just like kanye west.
