I love Rattle And Hum because of its mix of live and studio material. It shows where the band was and what they were thinking of at that point. I can't imagine it without this mixture...Rattle and Hum is an interesting one - you've got to really imagine it as an EP with all the live stuff stripped off. I don't know if people REALLY go through that mental exercise in their heads, or if they just automatically ding it because of its jumbled nature.

Fav album polls have been done, dude. =PNo votes since 8/4? I know it's running til the end of the month, but really?
There are two things I personally consider - whether I like the individual songs on each album, and whether the album as a whole works for me. I think both are important, and unfortunately R&H really falls apart as a whole album.Rattle and Hum is an interesting one - you've got to really imagine it as an EP with all the live stuff stripped off. I love Rattle & Hum more than most, but as Digitize says, it's only fair to judge it by what it actually was, not what it might have been.Rattle and Hum is an interesting one - you've got to really imagine it as an EP with all the live stuff stripped off.
