Do you usually skip Numb ??!

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

I never listen to Zooropa.

Though I must say that I love First Time and Stay. I listen to these two songs in different versions a lot, but never to the album.

Yes, love Numb.

I actually really like the Best Of mix of it too. They got that one right.

Zooropa is going to sound absolutely awesome when eventually remastered.

I definitely think Numb warranted it's place on the Best of 90/00, it is one of the best things on Zooropa and probably has the funniest set of lyrics to any U2 song.

Bono's "I feel numb" falsettos are replaced by a full-voiced guy singing "I feel numb".

I always thought it was Larry? , on the Best Of Mix.
Coz he sings backing vocals on Numb according to the Zooropa booklet.

I don`t skip Numb when I listen to Zooropa.
I usally skip Some Days....!

Cheers ,

Mauwer

It's okay, but more a novelty than anything else, I find.

Who in the sweet fuck would skip the second best song on the album?!?!? I swear, the subsection of U2 fandom that takes issue with this song completely, utterly escapes me...

I like the song, but if I'm not in the mood I skip it. Most of Zooropa, it just depends on what mood I'm in. Stay and Lemon I never skip tho..

The low man voice is indeed Larry, but you can still hear Bono's falsetto too :)

great song

I actually think Stay is slightly overrated
but that's cause I personally don't care for the chorus that much
(though live acoustic it's delicious)

Oh man! How can you people skip Babyface?? It's so calming to listen to!

Turning around and around with the sound
And colour under my control, go
Round and around, going down
Dressed up like a lovely day

 Bono's vocal delivery is so beautiful in this song!

I skip Numb 50% of the time
I skip Babyface 99.9% of the time

Only 99,9%??? :tsk:

I'm still tempted to take it off my ipod, but then again, that would mean I wouldn't have all of U2's stuff that's been commercially released on my ipod, and what kind of hardcore U2 freak would I be without all their releases on my U2 iPod
