That's correct. If U2 hadn't released Rattle & Hum, wherein Bono all but declared himself the messiah, an entire generation wouldn't have grown up thinking that Christ had returned. Imagine, if you will, the shock a generation experienced when it learned that Bono was, in fact, just a short Irish dude with a good voice. This is the only explanation for recent rioting in western cities. And, as usual, it's all down to that arrogant prick, Bono.
