What's the best place to find a nice, somewhat inexpensive men's leather jacket?

The Illinois winter is upon us. I need a new leather jacket. Lost my old one. (Don't ask.) I can't be spending any more than like 200 to 400 dollars on this thing. But that's a pretty fair deal, I think, because a leather jacket can last for years and years and there's a chance that if I really like it I'll hang on to it for life.

I don't know a damn thing about clothing stores or what's "in" and fashionable or any of that shit. I just need a leather jacket. Black. Maybe with one of those removable hoods. Maybe some cool pockets, too. I wouldn't know the first place to look, though.

Help me out. This is a huge life decision.

If the question is serious, I've had really good luck at Marshall's. I think they are nationwide. The selection varies from store to store, but it's worth it to check around.
