Don't particularly care for that. It starts off good, Bono sounds great, then it gets really preachy and boring. Too many voices all over the place, plus genres, rappers, etc. Only one recognizable was Justin Timerlake. Did Bono write the new words to it? What's some good "tribute and cause songs?" One of the best is "We are Family" and confused now as to what has a bunch of versions, is it the Michael Jackson one coming up has a Pop, soul, and hard rock version? Who is on this "What's Going on?" I hear DC on there, but who are all those others? Have not seen any "tribute" videos yet on MTV. And speaking of tribute songs, whatever happened to George Michael? And remember the cartoon on SNL about the tribute song, that was funny. Thank you and goodnight.

yeah, bono sounds fabulous at the beginning! i don't mind the song, i think it has it's moments. all in all, it's a catchy song. i do think there are too many people on the project, you only get to hear everyone briefly. also, i think fred dursts part ruins what could have been a good hip hop section.

still, thumbs up to bono for orchestrating a good deed!

?Hard as it is to keep it together, it is still possible to have those moments when it?s just the four of you being able to keep the rest of the world out... and that?s what it?s all about.?

can't say i like what i've heard... like numerous other people have mentioned, it's highly convoluted. I'm looking forward (at least partially) to hear the other various versions that are being produced.. including the Bono produced rock version.

Thanks, that's the Limp guy screwing it all up, wondered what that was. He shows that anyone, absolutely anyone, can make money in show business. So moral of that story is, have no talent, look awful, don't give up! Mad TV did a tribute show last wk for "celebrity exhaustion," and unfortunately this bears such a resemblance.

I just saw the video and I think I like this version. That's the same as the video which can be seen on its site.
