Update from my friend in Iraq

He finally contacted me through my yahoo messenger. He told me his humvee was hit by an IED. He only received scratches. One of his men was seriously injured and will have to urinate in a bag for the rest of his life. He will be coming back in December for a month and we plan to spend a lot of time with him before he heads back to Iraq. Please continue praying or well wishes for him and the rest of our men and woman in the armed forces.

They would try him in a military court for being AWOL and he could be dishonarably discharged.

I wouldn't wish it on anyone to be there. There is a lot more going on there than we the US public will ever know (unless you intimately know someon currently serving or who is just back). I wish the Troops would be withdrawn. This is an ugly mess.
