I spent about $85 on souvenirs. My parents paid for everything else.

But you don't know the half of it..."

This will help me start a savings plan for the next tour. This time I was only able to go to two shows.

What do the pleba girls think about the possible extension of Elevation? Anyone traveling?

I am seriously thinking about it...my job is laying me off in the spring and I will have a fat severance package with about 6-8 mths of doing absolutly nothing and being paid for it...before i heard about the rumors of U2 touring again, i was thinking about traveling to Europe...I am now really seriously thinking about doing it...

Oh please don't- I know I added upwards of 1000 bucks or more with all the tickets, hotels and food- to my already high credit cards with high interest. Do you think we could get Bono to make them drop our debt?

I don't even want to think about it. Our plane tickets to Ireland alone cost more than that.

Haha - you'll have to ask Bono

Seriously though, I'm 99% sure there will be a summer leg in Europe, over July and early August then going onto Australia and maybe Japan for the finale. Doubt they'll go to the US for anything other than one off performances.

2001
4 shows: ?800 (Slane tickets don't come cheap and I paid for my friends' tickets)
Accomodation, airfare, stolen wallet etc: ?700

I'm going to budget next year!

Glad I'm not the only one *travelling* Europe next year - hope to see y'all in GA!

I'm planning on travelling to Europe next year, if they're there. Already starting to save up.

MissVelvetDress, sorry you're getting laid off, but that severance package really is a nice silver lining, isn't it?

thanks...it sucks that I am being laid off, but with that severance package it cushions the blow...and ****, if U2 does tour Europe next Summer, I will not have to worry about time off or the money...just have to worry about friends that I can travel with...
