So this recently popped up on YouTube; it was actually posted elsewhere and removed, so who knows how long this one stays up. It's from the 1987 Tempe shows and it just looks and sounds absolutely spectacular. Thought I'd share for those unaware, and hopefully it doesn't come down too quickly.

Phil Joanou had the show on his Vimeo and it was shared on “accident” someone snagged it and shared it on YouTube. It’s from his upcoming project which likely will be the complete Tempe Show as part of the Rattle and Hum anniversary? That’s what I gathered (and I am hoping) from the Reddit thread.

Well well well

I’m watching it via that one website. Streets from Rattle and Hum is ingrained in memory so it’s kind of cool seeing the unaltered original footage of it.

I always felt like and said that maybe one day they’d just release a high quality version of the show filmed in color (Tempe) and at least one of the black and white shows they filmed for Rattle and Hum as some bonus feature or extra. At least we are getting closer. As we know over the years there are plenty of outtakes aside from the filmed Joshua Tree tours they could also give us the other stuff too. Maybe some would think it would be boring but I kind of like the nerdy behind the scenes stuff.
