Tracklisting Popmart DVD + Bonus DVD - here it is!

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

They should've included Bono's workout plan for this tour. He certainly was fit.

Was that the best physical shape he was ever in?

Wouldn't mind burning me a copy of that DVD

How about Miami or Do You Feel Loved? Those should have been added.... as well as a Year in Pop.

Regardless, I'm still stoked.

Well, no one should be surprised.

Edmonton concert, for example, that has these bonus tracks, had Slow Dancing, If God Will Send His Angels (although I wouldn't put those performances anywhere) and MIAMI!!!

Bad and Mothers of the Disappeared from the South America concerts.

Miss Sarajevo from the Sarajevo concert.

All very easy to put on DVD...

WOW I can't believe they are releasing some songs from Edmonton, which I did attend. And I agree, Miami SHOULD be on here, no question!! It would be cool to have Slow Dancing and IGWSHA as bonus tracks. I do remember that they were filming and recording those shows. Brings back lots of memories and it's about time Popmart DVD came out.

Looks delicious! Popmart will sound and look great on a dvd and I love the extras. But yeah I agree Miami should have been a bonus, and I also wish "A Year In POP" was there too. Still it's good stuff on the way.

I have been a little bit sick of U2 as of late. But I could get into this again. I agree with designer Willie Williams:

"History will vindicate Popmart".

I think it will look and sound gorgeous on DVD in full surround.

Edmonton actually had 2 shows both of which were totally full and sold out of about 60 thousand people each. I went to both of these shows. Slow Dancing was from the June 15th show and this show was also recorded because With Or Without You was also taken from this show. These shows were both awesome, but the June 15th one was better :)

Im also glad to see the Rotterdam tracks included...looking forward to release of this :)

Half of one of the Edmonton shows is on Youtube(the official DVD clips will have more camera angles).

The Rotterdam clips are also up.

Interesting that the DVD will have clips from Leg 1(Edm), Leg 2(Rott) and Leg 3(Mex) but nothing from the international leg 4. U2 have admitted that the South American shows in 1998 made them enthusiastic to be back in the band.

I still think they should add the One/40 footage from Seattle. Not only was it the final performances of the tour in the US, but it's got the tour debut of 40 and bald Bono and the stage was decorating with Xmas ornaments/trees put up by the crew leaving the tour.

BTW, serious U2 fans should keep their VHS/VCD/DVDr copies of the show since it's likely they will re-edit some of the video footage like they did with Sydney.

Sydney footage was not re-edit, unless you're talking about the TV broadcasted version. The VHS version is the same as DVD.

Wow, that bonus disc is a complete waste of time.

I know I won't be buying this.

Good. I'd hate to see you enthusiastic about U2 in general. Then something would be seriously wrong with them.

BTW, you can also go for the 1-Disc edition with just the show. :)

"Stay" was almost completely new angles from home video VHS and last years DVD. Also, the DGPFYCC money explosion where Adam gets surprised is a distant stage shot(DVD) rather than a close-up the band(VHS).

There are numerous other changes throughout the DVD, but mostly subliminal.

Original live PPV, the home video VHS/VCD and DVD means that there are 3 very slightly different versions of the same concert.

Remember that that version was a heavily under rehearsed one.

They could have made it a killer, same goes for If god will send his angels, i thought it worked very well.

And i will be buying the 2 disc version. can't wait to hear MOOOFFOOOO screaming over my speakers!

Was there ever a solid live performance of "Do You Feel Loved"???

Don't know why there still is all the fuss about "Do You Feel Loved" - one of the best tracks of the album. The tune was performed in Las Vegas - with great sounds and a very passionate vocal performance, regarding the show's circumstances. It was fine - and was fine in the documentary, too. The same with the other two versions I heard in concert then: San Diego & Tempe (maybe the musically best version, surely the last ...). I like the song live - and haven't understood why it was skipped forever so early.
