I see you've got the dreaded red x. You're probably doing it right, you're just posting from a site that doesn't allow it. Tripod, Geocities, and some others won't work. Some have gotten around that by opening a Webshots photo album. I opened one but haven't figured out how to upload pics to it yet. Perhaps some kind soul could help us out.

I have a Webshots photo album and that's what I used. I think I did it right, I used the UBB Code instructions. Oh well, who knows. Maybe I'll try it again later.

ok here's how you do it.

i hope this comes out and doesn't think i'm trying to post a pic...

In order to get the correct URL you must right click on the image and choose "View Image". When the picture you want is the only one on the screen then you copy that url (http) and put it as shown above. don't forget about that pesky little backslash in front of the second "img". good luck!

when done correctly it should look like this:

If you want to set up a Webshots account, it's totally free and I love to use it. Makes my life easier because I have so many pictures...

If you do set up Webshots, here's how you post the picture. It's amazing... I figured this out by accident while in a Codeine-induced haze... I even surprised Disco because I was just babbling away about who knows what.

Anyway... here's what you do. Once your picture is saved on Webshots:

1. Open picture.
2. Right-click on picture.
3. Select "Properties"
4. Highlight Address (URL) code and copy it.
5. place the URL code for the picture between

.

I really like Webshots because you can view different albums and each album holds 36 pictures. Really convenient for searching for a picture. Before, I used to have to search for pictures through the hard drive. I hated that.
