Yes it sure was. And I blubbered at the end too. That has to be the sweetest thing I have ever seen. I don't think they ever have done anything on that level for a departing cast member.

And did Andy Samberg leave too? It wasn't clear to me. She was the one who saved every skit she was in. Now how much worse is next season gonna get in terms of the comedy and the lack there of that has been going on for awhile.

I was out of town so I DVR'd SNL this week. Didn't know Kristen Wiig was leaving the show! Soooooooo sad, but unfortunately what happens with SNL favorites. I'm sure she will be back to visit like most of the show's alumnus.
