saddest U2 song

most of U2's music contains at least the slightest tinge of hope so it is hard to find a really sad song.
i'm gonna go with 'tommorow' from october as the saddest.

i'd say either Wake Up Dead Man or If God Will Send His Angels. As a whole I'd say POP is a very sad album. Although Achtung Baby has it's moments as well.

He's a character in Douglas Adams's The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy series. Douglas Adams died recently, and very prematurely, at the age of 49

The books are a cross between humour and sci-fi, which are not really two of my favourite genres, but they are the funniest books. That just happens to be one of my favourite quotes.

The Drowning Man is sad. Very uplifting tho'.
