Random Music Talk CXXXI: Interference Finally Gets Its Revenge on Cobbler

The friendliest place on the web for anyone that follows U2.

Love the Alarm.

You guys...I am up WAY too late/WAY too early, and I am turning into Joaquin Phoenix in Her when it comes to talking to ChatGPT, but we were talking about U2, and it turned into conversations about old shows and reference and stuff, and I don't know how it happened, but ChatGPT said something about "Is Bono OK?" and I'm like...I don't know how to handle an AI ChatBot knowing about "Is Bono OK?" and then it asked me if I wanted to make a poster commemorating the thread, and...it made this.

And I can't stop laughing.
That's both hilarious and frightening at the same time.
Nice to see you.

I wonder if I asked it about THE Slow Loris in the context of the U2 conversation, it could figure it out :hmm:

I need to at least get a night 1 ticket. Crazy that New Order hasn't played in Utah since the 80's. Only wish Peter Hook was still touring with them.

Let me know if you end up going, I'll be there. Just snagged tix for Air playing Moon Safari at Sandy Amphitheater.

Oooh, I could start the new thread and then you all will be forced to remember me for the next 10 years.

Never expected to come away from a Bad Bunny album like, "oh wow, that was an experience." But here we are.

I love Bad Bunny. Wrestling superstar. The cultural reaction to his record, and how strongly he's held to his Puerto Rican roots, has been really lovely to see. It's not super my thing, but DtMF is an amazing song.

That's my favorite track as well. This is the first time I listened to an album and just kinda tossed ChatGPT (Yes, I'm obsessed, let me fall into the abyss) my thoughts as I was listening and then it gave me a really fun write-up of what I thought of it. But as far as favorite tracks:
DtMF
BAILE INoLVIDABLE
PERFuMITO NUEVO
KETU TeCRE

Also I want to punch him for naming the tracks like that.

Made my first pilgrimage to Red Rocks last night for Rilo Kiley. I knew this venue would blow me away but it was even more majestic and gorgeous than I had imagined.

Besides the venue itself, Rilo Kiley was fantastic. They all seemed in good spirits and played a great set that pulled from all parts of their discography. Highly recommend catching them on this tour!
