My mom's told me the story befoer about how, back in the early/mid '80s, she and my dad were talking about the band once, and my dad said that if the Monkees were to come out then, they'd be just as huge.I can clearly remember the Summer of 1986 when the Monkees were celebrating their 20th anniversary. On MTV and VH-1, Monkee mania was running wild. That was roughly my introduction to them. Other tv stations started playing Monkee reruns again as a result.
There are some people who say you shouldn't mix politics and music, sports and politics. Well... I think that's kinda bullshit!
That's great that Micky is still out there performing. I always liked him. (And the other Monkees too).

How's the weather in November? My wife and I are thinking about hiking Zion.Weather in Utah is beautiful right now. Sunny and mid-70’s for highs. First snow visible on the tops of the mountains and the leaves up high are starting to change color. Football games all weekend. What could be better.
Nice! We're thinking probably next year and 60's is ok, so we would probably plan late October/early November.Should still be warmish (60’s) in southern Utah Zion/St George area in November, especially first half of the month. Northern Utah (SLC) starts getting cold and some snow in November.
Our very own cobbler actually hiked Zion in late October last year. He may be able to tell you more.
