The Fly
Hi everyone -
For those who don't know me, this is my web site: http://www.U2photos.com
To make a long story short, a bank was dumb enough to give someone with my terrible credit a new card this past week, and I'm dumb enough to spend it all on film and gas and tickets. So for those of you who like my photos, there are hopefully more coming. Hey, it's a musical journey...
This is what I need: I can't take photos without GA tickets. I can't afford to pay more than the face value and standard Ticketmaster fees. If you have one or two extra GA tickets for whatever reason for nearly any show and want to sell them at face value, please write me at otto@U2photos.com or leave a message at my house. If you have one the day of a show, please look for me hanging around the GA line. I'm six foot three, and something of a self-portrait is in the links below. I can probably reward you later with a free photo print, if you wish. I have tickets so far to only New Jersey and the second Providence show, so any you can find are greatly appreciated.
I also need some places to stay. If you live in eastern Wyoming, South Dakota, Nebraska or Iowa, a couch or floor to stay while driving east on Thursday and Friday would be great. If you live in or will have floor space in a motel room in Providence or Salt Lake, that's also great. If I can get to Philly or Austin, I would need somewhere to stay there too.
Whatever happens, I'm looking forward to seeing everyone at the shows. Not to get all sentimental on y'all but my "real" family is down to just two and I'm pleased to know so many fans and have you as sort of a second family. Thanks to everyone for being so nice on the first leg and making me want to try such stupidity again. Thanks to the tapers and web site operators and mailing list moderators and everyone who also shares with other fans and thus encourages me to do the same. Thanks to everyone who sang happy birthday to me in Jersey and embarrassed the hell out of me. And to the guy in the GA line who fed me and thus converted me to peanut butter and strawberry after a lifetime of grape: thank you, thank you, thank you. See you all in Chicago and after, hopefully...
