I've taken trains from Chicago with bad rain and it hasn't been bad, hopefully that's the case here, too.

Ok, after many last minute doubts about my choice of travel I'm looking at one way flights in, that way I can still use my train ticket home - I can get home anytime on Monday.

I just can't take anything liquid on the plane with me now, right? It's been well over a year since I've flown.

Actually they changed the rule so that you can carry certain amounts of liquids on board. Here's a link about it on US Air's site - I'm sure the other airline restrictions would be the same.

go to the tsa.org to find out exactly but 3 oz. is the limit of anything in a carry on bag...if in doubt, check it all....I'm really looking forward to seeing you since Toronto, 2 years ago....
