Last night, the Giants played like a decent NFL team. I was tired last night. I couldn't stay awake. Fell asleep at 945. Lol! They looked good at that point, but I was expecting a collapse back to reality.

before the eagles late fumble i was completely expecting that the defense would let the eagles right back into the game, and that we'd ultimately lose. and i fully expect to get demolished in 2 weeks when we go down to Philly. alas...

Dart honestly should have had a better night yesterday. there were a few absolute dimes that he threw that were dropped by the Giants pathetic receiving corp. but in the long run i think not having Nabers for this first season will help him - as he's forced to move the ball around a bit more instead of just forcing it into Malik.

he needs to slide more on his runs, and he's still a bit loose with the ball when he runs - there's little doubt that at some point here he's going to fumble it on a big play. but he's a lot more agile and accurate than i realized. jones was fast - and had some great designed runs (when he wasn't falling flat on his face 10 yards shy of the end zone). but Dart has shown a knack to turn something out of nothing. and his ball placement was terrific last night. he should have had at least one more passing touchdown but the ball was dropped.

the saints game was awful coaching and roster management. they left 2 roster spots unused, had an excess number of offensive linemen - and didn't bring up any extra wideouts. and then slayton got hurt - and they were trying to play with one receiver, 5 tight ends and 3 running backs. just dumb.

but that aside - it's nice to at least have a little juice in the building - and a bit of hope that we might just have something to build upon.

For the first time since Eli, there's some excitement at the QB position for the NYG. Sorry, but Daniel Jones didn't do it for me. Lol. Dart throws a beautiful spiral. Last night was a great start!

Daniel "Danny Dimes Vanilla Vick Indiana" Jones got a bad rap in NY because the offensive line was brutal. He's showing in Indy that he's better than what he showed here.

Alas, Dart has at least shown so far that he has the pocket awareness and agility to better deal with the still sub par offensive line.

It may also be that he's merely better than Russell Wilson, who went in for a split second last night when Dart was getting his left hand looked at and, as is the tradition, looked terrible on his only drive.

Dart looked elite in the preseason. In two of his three real games he's looked like it wasn't a fluke. In the other game he looked pretty awful after the first quarter. Time will tell. It's at least nice to have some hope.

But he could be the second coming of Patrick Mahomes and it's not going to matter if he keeps taking the unnecessary hits he's been taking through the first three games. My man needs to learn how to slide.

oh man oh man oh man I just saw the Broncos/Giants highlights. what a crazy 4th Quarter! That was a rough INT but generally you gotta like what you’ve seen from Dart these last few games.

Not sure why that's funny... alas.

Yes, you like what you see. He's a rookie and he made a rookie mistake. The kicking and the coaching are the bigger issues. We have a QB1.

Losing that game also takes any crazy ideas that we're good and could make the playoffs in our shitty division out of play, which is a positive. I feel if they would have held on then they'd be trading some future assets for another wide receiver before the deadline instead of being smart and holding on to the assets.

They absolutely should hold onto their assets and build towards a window that starts in 2-3 years. If they play it smart, I think you'll be a happy fan in that timeframe.

Micah Parsons named Defensive Player of the Month. That's awesome. I've been saying that I thought this kid would be good.

Man, going back to the 80's after Rodgers left has been tough but I think things have been turning the corner.

Mikal, your Packers suck. Knocked me out of my survivor pool. 60-some-odd folks, down to final 10 entering yesterday and I went with GB. Sonofa....

Haha.
If I had known they were wearing those stupid uniforms I would have gone with the Rams and still been alive.
I think they should wear their All Whites at every away game and do an All Green at home.

Oh and they should fire Matt LaFleur, promote Jeff Hafley to Head Coach and bring in an offense mind similar to LaFleur but without the stupid decision making.
