I know there’s talent all over the roster but what good is it if every other year the entire 49er roster is hurt.

I’m kinda over the Kyle S experience

Yeah I know they were without a couple of key players, but so were the Packers. I was obviously pleasantly surprised that they dominated that much, especially up front.

I do think Kyle is one of the better coaches though. Maybe a new training staff would help.

Haha. Talk about underselling it,
How so? Packers were without Jaire Alexander, one of the best Corners in the league? And Edgerin Cooper has become their best Linebacker. I was very nervous about the Packers D holding up without them.

Bosa being out basically made that a wash. And Purdy is average, there wasn't a huge drop off from the QB position. Packers just put a stomping on the 49ers and didn't look back.

i've come to the conclusion that the only way the Mets will be allowed to be a good and competent franchise is for the Giants to be sacrificed on the alter of ineptitude.

so it shall be done.

You're handling it really well. I would be furious seeing Barkley and McKinney being the best at their respective positions this year.

it's overdue.

when john mara and steve tisch took over for their respective fathers - all they had to do was not fuck it up. and sure - they won two super bowls in their first 7 years, but a lot of that was built on the foundation laid by their fathers.

the first red flag should have been when they gave in to the Jets on the building of what ultimately became MetLife. they had all the power and ability to create the stadium they wanted, but instead gave away that power to the jets and created the bland, air conditioning unit you see today - just to save a buck.

they run it like a family business - except sports can't be run like a family business anymore. they've mismanaged it for so long and they're getting what they deserve.

john mara needs to resign as CEO and the two families need to agree to hire an outside firm to hire his replacement - and then that replacement can hire or fire the football operations team. right now they're just stuck in a death loop of misery.

just wait until daniel jones signs elsewhere and all of a sudden looks good again.

Come on man!
Niners were without their starting QB (however you feel about him) best defender and best offensive lineman (Not to mention previously injured Geenlaw and Aiyuk).
That's the 3 premier positions in the NFL, QB, edge Rusher and Left Tackle.
To say the Pack missing a corner and a rookie linebacker who has played 45% of the snaps thus far this season is equivalent is the epitome of homerism.

K? So what is your actual point then? I said that the 49ers were without some key players and so were the Packers. Based on the matchup, I was pleasantly surprised that the Packers dominated the game. There's no underselling. I don't really see what you're arguing here.

You were underselling how key the 49ers injuries were.
Nobody expected them to win that game once Purdy, Bosa and Williams were ruled out.

No I wasn't. I expected the Packers to win the game, just didn't think they'd win by 28 points, especially with Jaire and Cooper out. I figured McCaffrey would run the ball efficiently and that even with Bosa out, the Packers wouldn't control the line of scrimmage that considerably. Like I said in my original post, I was pleasantly surprised.

I'll just say, when I saw who was out for the 49ers, I meant to change my pick from them to the Pack and forgot to come on here to do so.
Oh for sure. Everyone should have. I think Hewson must have thought that I was afraid the Packers would lose. I picked them to win. Just didn't think they'd win by 28.
