I dont think this has been posted:

from u2log:
"Signed to Massive Attack's Melankolic label, Craig releases 'As If To Nothing', the follow-up to his 1998 critically acclaimed debut solo album, 'The Space Between Us' in February next year. The eagerly awaited release features a number of collaborations including one with Bono and the Edge who have recorded an acoustic version of 'Stay (Far Away, So Close)' from U2's 'Zooropa' album."

I hope it's a live version from the tour, it was such a beautiful rendition!

well, how is this much different than the acoustic version from Toronto?

*still prefers the Zooropa and Zoo TV versions*

It's different in that the album it comes from will be mostly orchestral. Craig Armstrong creates orchestral music, (he wrote the orchestral part of HMTMKMKM) so the version of Stay will likely be backed by an orchestra.

I said 'orchestra' too many times there...

That seems like it would work acoustic.

A local radio station here played an acoustic Stuck (I don't know where it was from) for about a week after the terrorist things and it made me cry, it was just beautiful
