Bono EP out in Australia. Desire is funky. Staccato cello, sounds slick and well done. Bono gets his Elvis on in the post-chorus.
SBS is sweet and gentle. Plucked strings and stark vocals. It’s the real winner of the three. Great vocal. There’s real depth and range and subtlety and power alternatively.

The circle glasses to me (and yes, I think they're a bad choice) come off as a throwback to Lennon and just a bigger indication he thinks he's a god of songwriting these days the way I've always felt Liam Gallagher wore them as well.
Now this begs the question of what kind of McCartney-ism could Edge add to his wardrobe? Maybe he just needs to start doing the head wobble as he plays.

Dumb question... did anyone here not go to his show - or genuinely doesn't know what to expect from this? I know some people did sneak their devices in and record the show, but I'm not sure how many of us hard-cores are going in blind to this!

i didn't go - timing just never worked out.
i've listened to one of the IEM rips - so i'm not totally blind. but haven't watched any youtube videos or anything like that - so partially blind.
