Yea I don't care what that says. They're. Ot winning shit with this team as it's currently constructed. They're a defensive sieve. This is Vegas milking Lakers fans dry for a few days.

What they did, though, is set themselves up where with a few more moves they could be a title contender for the next decade, even if it's not this year.

Dallas just tanked themselves for a decade.

There HAS to be more coming, from both sides.

This is going to be a crazy week.

Even if you think that Luka has conditioning issues and could be an injury risk on that huge deal ... you traded him for a 6 years older guy who has such a history of injuries that his nickname is "street clothes" and only got one first round pick out of the deal ... a pick that conceivably won't be good because you just sent a generational talent to the team that owned the pick.

Jesus Christ at least put the word out and get the best package available.

Is there a trade period open? Or are NBA teams just able to trade players to whoever the fuck they like whenever the fuck they want?

I really despise this aspect of American sports. It's so cruel to fans, and I think it's abhorrent for the players, being able to be traded and have to move your life without you having any knowledge of it.

Trade deadline is this Thursday, Fen 6. After that no trades until offseason.

DeAaron Fox must feel like he died and went to heaven.
Getting out of Loserville and going to play in a place that knows how to win alongside the NBA's soon to be premier player.

That would be awesome if the Bucks could somehow get Jimmy Butler but then again, he seems like he’s becoming a head case.

Jimmy will be good for a year with whomever signs him. But he kind of duplicates what Giannis does, just not as well.

How would you like Brad Beal and his no trade clause?

24 hours later...

I'm sold that one of two things are true...

a) Nico Harrison suffers from "smartest guy in the room" syndrome

b) Nico knows something about Luka and needed to make a move quickly with a team he knew wouldn't do their due diligence

The NBA is shifting. People are playing more bigs. If they get rid of defensive 3 this off-season all of a sudden the big is going to take on even more importance. So in that - maybe this makes sense strategically.

But Kyrie is old and can opt out after this year. AD is old and always hurt. Even if it might work for them in the short term... how did they not get more? How did they not get a second first?

I'd be down for that too. Bucks are so fucked for the long term so anything they can do to just maybe find that magic before Giannis decides to hang it up, I'm all for it.

kuz probably should have accepted the trade last year to dallas. it was clear he was over the tanking. he's a solid role player. athletic - capable defender when he's locked in. not the shooter middleton is (when middleton is healthy - which he never is).

generally did good things in the community. good contract.

PBJ is one of those guys who has a ton of talent but can't seem to do anything with it. couldn't figure it out in Golden State, couldn't get off the bench for a brutally bad team here. he spent his high school and college years in Milwaukee though, so maybe that'll make him motivated.

Almost seemed like a trade where Milwaukee just wanted to get younger. People locally here hate it but I was fine trading Middleton. Just hasn't been healthy since the championship year.

it's a move.

don't know if it's a good move, but it's a move.

kuz has been used to being a guy who can take any shot he wants here - he obviously wasn't that guy in LA. if he can slide back into being LA Kuz, he'll do a good job for you. if he wants to keep shooting a ton of shots, might have some issues there.

tfw your team sits almost every star player and tradeable asset when you go to the game the night before the deadline and then does nothing :|
