I saw this at Walgreens a few months ago and bought every copy they had!!!!!!!! :shifty: :reject:

Awesome. my birthday is in July so I'll be sending you my address around June

I have never seen a U2 card before.
Maybe I dont get out much but I was so excited about it.
I think my whole family thought I was nuts :lmao:

I got just as excited when I got that card from Bono Mot in June. It's awesome isn't it? :)

(I then went and bought every copy my Borders had :shifty: )

:hi5: I got that one for my birthday too!
:giggle: with some hand scribbled notes on it from BonoMot.. yea, larry having a beer gut? fat chance indeed

:lmao:

Brilliant! I want your mom to be my mom.

Larry with a beer gut? Have pigs started flying?

I found them at Barnes & Noble. The check-out woman said, "This card is very popular!" Uh, yeah, because I bought them all!

P.S. Happy birthday again, Sicy!

I received this card from a friend... when you open it, it speaks (its not Bono's real voice, but an impersonator) and says some funny poem "I remember the day you were born, the sky turned a magnificant color....blah blah blah"; its hilarious.

^That's magnificent!

BTW, at my B&N that card was in the "Cards for Men" birthday card section.

OH, SICY, THAT's so cool/fun of your  Mom!
Love it!

My mom would always {back in the 70's when a tix cost :shifty: $4.50 - $9.50 } save around $50 at home, so that I, my sis & our friends hadmoney ready-to-go when various concerts were announced, and we either had to get on the line with cash at ticketmaster, or venue, OR mail in a money order- which having the money ready meant me, or sis & me running a few blocks away to the ONLY local drugstore that HAD money orders :D available.

Add in- imagine THIS on a Weekend Day sometimes - when previous to ATM's it was harrder to pull money out of a bank b/c not all of them had weekend hours yet, or have check-cashing/money-order place right near by you.

With THIS method we always got tix! :hyper: :D

Yay for cool Moms! :hug:S
