omg!

OK I was in some music store today looking at the calendars for some reason and all I saw were Eminem Nsync britney etc.

So I was wondering -- have there ever been / will there ever be a U2 calendar? Cause I want one. NOW!

I had a U2 calendar back in '96. I had to order it from this place, and it took me over 4 months to get it!! They kept saying, "It's on its way." Finally, my mother called up and chewed them out, and I got it within a few days. Good ole Mom!!!

I never see any in stores, but you could probably find places online that sell them.

Actually, yes there is one. I have one, actually. It's a 2001 calander, and I don't remember where I got it, but it was at one of those Calandar specialty stores. And I was actually on my way out of the store and I happen to see it at passing glance. There's some pretty good pictures in it too... it was made by Oliver Books... their web address is www.oliverbooks.co.uk I'd try there.

Hey Mona, I came across a U2 site once in my 'travels' (tho darned if I can find it again, OF COURSE) that had TONS of scanned pictures from several U2 calendars, about 6-10 years' worth. I think I bookmarked the site, but I have SO MANY U2 sites bookmarked it's gonna take me awhile to find it...if you're interested, that is.

ARGH!!!! Just went to that bloody www.oliverbooks.co.uk website (for calendars you have to go to 365calendars.com), tried to order two calendars and the stupid on line order form is %$#@-d up and wouldn't accept my order!!

Something is messed up in their order form's code, I think. I sent them an email and hope to get it fixed so I can order those...

has anyone else tried??

I know for a fact that there is a 2002 U2 calendar. I know someone who's a part of the BMG music club, and a recent catalog had a 2002 calendar insert which included U2. So it's definitely out there. I don't think it's available online yet, but when it's closer to the holiday season I'm sure we'll be able to find it.
