ONE love, blood, life
No, it shouldn't have. Every song on HTDAAB is better than this. This is a good b-side, that's it. AYGWF and Neon Lights are both better, too.

Agreed. And I don't see the Miracle Drug connection made by some ...

it builds like Miracle Drug.

Still not sure about that ... I think I'll have to listen to them back-to-back to really judge.

Because One Step Closer is like a fine wine. I've posted this analogy so many times I don't feel like repeating myself. Just drown in OSC and indulge in its subtle beauty. It's the RTSS or Heartland of this album.
Axver said:I couldn't disagree with you more. OSC contains a subtle beauty and you really need to indulge in this song. It sneaks up on you, it's not obvious. And it's the perfect link between CFYT and OOTS. The album would be so much weaker without it.
I say it's a soft, insightful track and you can feel the one step.

If I had lackluster feelings about chunks of ATYCLB and just heard Mercy and was blown away on the first listen...am I in for a treat with the album? Is this representative of the feel on the album? Are the tracks more on the anthemic side like this? Or stripped down again like some of ATYCLB?
Thanks in advance.
