Matt's writing a U2 book and needs your help!

I'M WRITING A BOOK ... AND WOULD LOVE YOUR HELP!

I've been bursting at the seams wanting to say something about this,
and now that the agreement is signed I finally can: I'm writing a book
tentatively titled U2 Diary which will be published in 2008 by Omnibus
Press, the same company that publishes the excellent U2 Live - A
Concert Documentary book.

U2 Diary will be a comprehensive history of U2, written in
timeline/diary format. But more than just dates and facts, the book
will detail the important stories behind the "who, what, when, and
where."

i have a collection of articles about Bono's visits to DC from the Express. Most of my belongings are still packed in boxes so I will have to dig, and this may take me awhile. However, I'll e-mail m2 when I do.

no offense to Matt, but I just wonder what there is left to say that hasn't been written about in any of the previous books? I mean, I think u2 by u2 is pretty comprehensive, and when you add that to the other books out there, I just don't think there is enough fresh material to fill a new book. I'm not interested in a rehashing of the same old stories from a different perspective.

the most recent U2 Live book was done this way and Matt isn't gonna have them "write" it for them, he's looking for input like the U2 Live book Author did, which was fine with me...
