I have a very large collection of early and rare U2 records that I'd like to give others the opportunity to own. They span from 1979 to the early 90s. The set that I'm willing to part with are all on 7-inch vinyl and nearly all of them are from Ireland. This collection includes the following:

U2 Pac 2
4 U2 Play
U2 Pac 3
Unforgettable Fire (single, not album) gatefold
Another Day Irish 7" (This one is extremely rare and is a first pressing from 1980)
New Musical Express Readers Poll Winners 1984 (includes Wire (Dub Mix))

All of these records are in near mint condition and have sleeves that are also in near mint condition. For most of these, I am the only owner and they have been well stored in plastic sleeves to protected them. They have almost never been exposed to sunlight and have only been played a handful of times each. I have been an obsessive U2 collector since about 1982. It's time to part with them, though, so others can enjoy them as much as I have.

Please let me know if you are interested. You can contact me through a private message on this forum. Also, please let me know if you are looking for anything in particular.

I'll sell the Irish 7" Another Day separately if anyone is interested. Just send me a PM with an offer.

Rob

As I wrote, you can send me a PM with an offer. If you search for these on eBay you will get an idea of how much they are worth. The whole collection will be at least several hundred dollars. As you probably know, these are extremely rare and in excellent condition.

Maybe next payday? Honestly though, and I'm not being snarky, but you'll probably get more engagement if you didn't rely on people to do their own research for the 10 different offerings. It's not a huge amount of time, but I think if you're listing the items, there should be some sort of starting point.

The photos and descriptions of each record weren’t helpful to you. Can I come to your house and give you a sippy cup and a bib? No snark. Have a great day, y’all!111!!!

Sorry, the only post that's inappropriate here was your response.

That said - if someone has a question on price, please contact the OP by PM as requested.

Whether or not they'd get more traction by posting the price is irrelevant. It's their post and they requested to discuss in PMs, which is within the rules.

It was just a helpful suggestion and was thinking about going for all of them. But I certainly am not even going to think about buying now and I'd be surprised if anyone else did.

Do I think the seller would get more traction if they listed a price? Yes.

Is it required by the rules to list a price? No.

Frankly I think it should be, to make sure nobody gets screwed in PMs. I'll see about changing that. But for now if they want to require potential buyers to PM then to discuss price it's within their right.

They shouldn't insult anyone who suggests they share the price publicly, though.

I mean yeah I understand. I wasn't demanding they do it. Just was trying to help out.
