How to add a 'Profile Photo' ?

Hi folks,
As you can tell by my # of posts, I am very new here.


And, well, I can't seem to add a Profile Photo. In the Edit Profile section it says:

"Profile Photo:
Put in the URL of a photo to be displayed with your profile. Please keep the photo at about 200 pixels wide. NOTE: files from services like Geocities WILL NOT WORK. Upload photos in the Uploads conference."


I've tried a few URLs but when I check my posts I don't see the photo...

Also, I can't seem to find this "Uploads conference"? Can someone... ?

Profile photos dont show up on your posts.. they are stored in your profile, you would click on your profile and there is the photo although I dont see one in your profile so not quite sure if you pasted the link correctly? The spot is blank.

If you are referring to the small picture under your name, that is your 'avatar'. You would click on Edit Options in your User CP and scroll all the way to the bottom to the avatar option.

If you are referring to your signature, you need to be a premium member to have one.

I was confusing Profile Photo with Avatar!

I removed the URL from the Profile Photo field when I thought it wasn't working... hehe
