My parents and I saw U2 on this tour in Detroit. As many have heard, at the end of "Walk On", Bono thanked Detroit, Ohio...not Detroit, Michigan. Whoops!

I was listening to that MP3, and I commented on that again to Dad. He said, "I STILL think he's thanking Detriot' AND 'Ohio'."

"No he wasn't," I said. "It was obvious he flubbed!"

"Are you saying that Bono is stupid? He's not stupid!" Dad replied.

*lmao* Usually these conversations are the other way around...

I was very amused at the Lexington show to keep hearing Bono referring to Kentucky instead of Lexington, as if he wasn't sure what city he was in. Much relief to hear him do the same thing on the Elevation DVD--thank Massa(feck how do you spell that)setts instead of Boston. He wasn't spacing out, he was showing how intelligent he is!! I for one would love to hear them do a cover of the Animaniacs State Capitols song!
