Guess date of the release

This has been my prediction for the last two years. :)
 
I think a summer release, i have a fuzzy warm feeling regarding release date and location of where the album is being made.
 
didnt bono state that an album needs to last over to xmas periods to get good sales so i predict Oct/Nov 2008

To make it a bit more definite...

Single: September 2008
Album: Friday 21st November 2008
Tour: Hmm... probably March :wink:

That however is based on the pattern of their last two albums maybe this time if they got songs for Rubin by September, then Rubin lives up to his reputation has a fast worker then he could be finished by mid to late october, then we could see an album between late November and early December, but that's a very optimistic prediction.

Well, Achtung Baby followed the same scheme and Pop was supposed to do the same.
 
Tuesday, March 25, 2008. I think they might not do the Christmas release idea, and tour through the presidential election.

Not possible. Albums come out on Mondays in most parts of the world, Tuesday in the US.

My realistic prediction:

Single: Week before Grammy's cut-off
Album: Late November 2008
Tour:
March-June 2009: North America
June-September 2009: Europe
October-December 2009: North America
February-March 2010: Rejected Lands

My optimistic prediction:

Single: Late March 2008
Album: Late April 2008
Tour:
May-August 2008: Europe
August-November 2008: North America
February-March 2009: Rejected Lands
May-June 2009: North America

I live in Ireland and here U2 albums are released the Friday before the rest of the world, that's why I gave that date.
 
I wish I could predict Spring, but it's just too optimistic, we're gonna need a lot more hard evidence before I can buy into that.

I think there's enough proof to make this prediction correct now.

However, a spring/summer release is also possible.
