Rock n' Roll Doggie
Man, you just can't believe ANYTHING from the U2 crew, y'know??? So I'm perusing Sunday's Dallas Morning News and...hey, what's this??? U2???? *reads* OMG. They didn't leave right after the Dallas show after all, GRRRR!!! For those of us waiting for hours after the show to see the guys...they lied! (natch)
Here's the article:
----
ARGH!!! They were still in town! Everyone on the crew was telling us they had split, and the plane had already taken off...one guy even yelled at me about it, sheesh!
That Patrizio is one of my fave restaurants in Dallas....and was only a short way away...we could have stalked the guys there!!!
I thought the owner's comment was hiliarious...
I know one thing for sure...next time I hit Patrizio, I'm getting the "Bono and Ed" special!

- "Low Visibility U2
For those of you who keep asking where U2 hung out while in Dallas, there is an answer.
"Bono and Ed (ED!!! LOL) were at Patrizio in Highland Park Village," says Patrizio owner Jack Knox.
"I don't know who they are - do you?"
Oh Jack, your lack of hipness is showing. That's Bono and The EDGE, dude.
The lead singer and guitarist for the venerable band U2 are near-gods to people of a certain age (hint: younger than Jack Knox and older than Britney Spears). They enjoyed a quiet meal at the neighborhood Italian joint after their concert at Reunion arena."
