ground beneath her feet

HI U2-People!

Most of you will know the beutiful song "The ground beneath her feet" -- but is there someone that read the book by Salman Rushdie with the same title?

Tell me what you thoung about it...

As regards me, it's in the list of my favourite books -- such an odd story! And the characters are so full of magic and music (more or less, the same thing!!)

C'mon, I wait for your opinions!

I know it's old. .. But I'm a new U2-addicted and I found out that book just a few time ago!
Anyway, do you really think a book, or a cd, can be considered old?
I don't!!
