I am seriously ready to go postal on someone.

Today I was laid off...I got the "things have been very slow", "it's nothing you did", "blah-blah-blah" speech from the goddamn human resources director who's so goddamn old she was here before the damn dinasours were. Then I was escorted to my desk by my boss to gather all my shit...what a fun way to begin your Christmas season.

What a rotten weekend it's going to be. The job hunt begins tomorrow. *sigh*

Well, welcome to the club. Sorry to hear about your layoff. It happend to me back in August and I at least got 2 months of severance and to keep my laptop (well they didnt ask for it and I didnt feel like asking them if they wanted it!)

Bad news is I still don't have a job and send 2-5 resumes a week out. Hope things work out better for those of us in the laid off club but it probably wont be until after next month.
