European version of "Stuck" on American MTV

i, for one, think this version if FAR superior to the american version...
so should the rest of you ladies, because you get to see bono's lovely patches of chest hair...
of course that's not why i like it better

uh, but, no, it's really not...the euro version is much more profound, and it doesn't strip the song of its passion IMO.

yay! i can't wait to actually see it on tv as opposed to real player

This probably belongs in EYKIW, but I thought if I posted it here it might end up being a much more interesting discussion.

For those among you who felt that the American "Stuck" video was unforgivably silly and trite...

...well, you need to lighten up...

...but you'll be happy to know that MTV is now playing the European version.

Has anyone else (who resides in the US) seen this one? It's admittedly much more poignant than the football-stadium version.

My buddy ScottPhisto (who has joined this board but is too shy to post) apparently has just recently seen the American version. He e-mailed me today, yelling "I saw Edge slipping on nachos! BWAHAHAHA!"

Holy crap Echo- were you just watching MTV2 too? B/c I saw the same vid! I've had it on my computer, but now I finally got it on tape! Most of it anyway. I enjoy that video very much...plus it's the un-edited version of the song.
