Personally, I would rather it be Britney Spears...I think she is beautiful and I find her entertaining...why is everyone so down on this girl? Who wouldn't love to have that kind of success!? Anyway...having DC and Britney helps raise a lot of money for the cause, which is what is really important.

I agree. I find it funny to watch shows about people I dislike, just to see how they act. I recently watched a show where Destiny's Child did a tour of their house themselves (they all live together -- how screwed up is that?). The one with the short hair that is usually on the right, she said that she loved 'Survivor' and thought Beyonce was a wonderful lyricist and that it would have taken her MONTHS to write that song, and Beyonce just took five minutes to write it. In my opinion, it shows.

, they keep on changing members because Beyonce is such a prima donna and her Daddy is the manager!

I've discussed that a lot with people, and they all agree that if they break up, it'll be because they can't take it anymore because of Beyonce's control-obsessive father.

I'm sure somebody is going to flame me for this and say how 'talented' DC are and how U2 appreciate all genres and crap, but come on, they DON'T appreciate teen pop, they make fun of it.

I agree. Bono and probably Adam and Larry and Edge all enjoy different genres, but it is VERY VERY obvious Bono dislikes teen pop. I distinctly remember Bono saying this: "Okay MTV, you're 20 now, now you can get away from the pop, and focus on rock." There might be one or two little changes or additions, but that is basically what he said.
Also, I just wanted to mention my opinion on most pop: Destiny's Child is BETTER than most crap there is -- Jessica Simpson, NSync, Backstreet Boys (possibly the most stupidest name for a "band" in the last 10 years), even Christina (I have to admit she has a good voice but she doesn't make good music). I greatly dislike Britney personally, and I stay away from pop as much as possible. I agree with Honey, it's for the cause, but it's more than that I think. What TRULY is sickening is watch Bono sing a few lines of 'Say My Name' on MuchMusic! UGH!

LOL But it is their business, so I suppose none of this really matters.

Oh I totally agree. Destiny's Child are crap music. All they do is moan the same words over and over and it doesn't even sound like a song! Somebody said once that Beyonce reminded Adam of his long lost love Naomi Campbell and maybe they are trying to get in good with them so Adam can have a chance (at that trashy 'ho half his age..sorry) No, I really cannot understand the appeal at all and I am honestly disappointed in the boys for touting DC so highly. Really, what difference is there betweeen them and Britney or Christina or any of the other pop crap queens they diss? I don't understand it. His kids? Oh I would hope growing up with a rock star for a Dad his kids would have better taste in music than that crap! Maybe other kids follow the crowd and like crap because it's popular, but Bono's kids have been exposed to the better things in life and lots of famous stars so you'd think they were above that.
