there mighta been a few posts about this but i haven't been around in a few days. for anyone who was at the 10/28 show, you know what I am talking about. I was #151 in the GA line and didn't get in the heart because the 'security' decided not to honor the numbering system and they opened 6 or 7 gates at once. So people who got there at 5pm got in the heart and lil ol' me who got there at 9am didn't.
I did make it to the tip of the heart at least (hence my bono's knee experience.)
I also managed to literally faint during 'One' due to heat, dehydration and exhaustion. Thanks to Jason D for the jujubees, i'm sure i wouldn't have lasted through the show without them! and thanks to the nice girl who carried me out to the back of the GA section!

Sorry to hear you not getting into the heart. I was there as well and it was just awful. I was 233 (or 234) or so in line. Then all of the sudden, I was like, "Why are we moving so fast to the front!" Then it occurred to me that the line had collapsed. I couldn't believe it...so organized throughout the day. I kinda feel guilty, but I did manage to be one of the first into the heart. But, since I'm a tall guy and had been in the heart a couple times before, I sacrificed my Edge position. I just stood smack in the middle of the heart throughout the concert. Although I did go to the tip during UTEOTW to snap some Bull/Matador pics. Too bad my camera sucked(disposable). Thank god for Otto!! And that Baker kid had some cool photos, surprisingly.

hey, well good for you, at least you didn't waltz in at 5:30 and get in the heart. you must've at least gotten there in the late morning/early afternoon sometime to get that number. i felt lucky to end up where i was. i was right in front of edge/bono though on saturday night and if i get any good pics back i will post those!

i know how all of u feel. i arrived at midnight saturday night and was #22 in line. i didn't enjoy the concert at all.....thankfully today i have seat tickets for philly........gonna get there around 1:30-2:00pm....eat some food....drink some beers and enjoy myself. the GA thing has gotten way out of hand IMO.
