U2 lead singer Bono has been named European of the Year for his work on behalf of debt relief in developing nations. He was selected for the honor by readers of the weekly European Voice. Bono, in a posting on U2's website, said that he would donate his $4,458 prize to Concern, an Irish charity.
I guess if he didn't donate the money, he would probably have used it as toilet paper or burned it for heat hehehe
